Lion Alex and his wife, Lion Tiffany, have been married for 28 years and are blessed with three chil-dren. Their son Andrew John, is 27 years old, Alexis Rae is 23, and Alyssa Mae is 21. His parents and his inspiration, Silvino and Felissa, were both Lions and Melvin Jones Fellows. Lion Alex has been an active Lion in District 20-R1 for 23 years. He was inducted in 1998 as charter member of the Rockland Centennial Lions Club along with both of his parents, before moving to the Pearl River Lions Club in 2018. He has served as Club Secretary (2002, 2003, 2014, 2016, 2019) and Club President (2005, 2008). Lion Alex has served at the district level as Technology Chair (2008, 2009. 2011, 2012, 2014), Cabinet Treasurer (2019, 2020, 2021) and 1st Vice District Governor (2021). Lion Alex has been honored with the Robert J. Uplinger Award (2006), Melvin Jones Fellowship (2005) and various International President Certificates of Appreciation, most recently in 2021.
